What's the 7-day backtest?
Before committing, you upload (or sync via supported PMS) your last 12 months of bookings. We run them through the platform and show you exactly what HotelRMS would have recommended day-by-day plus the projected net-revenue impact. No obligation after the backtest.
What if my room count changes mid-month?
Billing is based on the trailing 30-day max room count synced from your PMS. New rooms count from the day they appear; closed rooms stop counting from the day they're inactive. No retroactive billing surprises.
Is there a setup fee?
Independent and Portfolio are self-serve and free to set up. Enterprise includes scoped onboarding ranging from $5K to $25K depending on integration depth and white-label customization.
How does pricing compare to incumbents?
At feature parity, Independent runs approximately 60-75% below IDeaS, Duetto, and Atomize. Portfolio at $5/room is roughly half of comparable enterprise tiers. Enterprise pricing is custom but the $25,000 annual minimum is lower than most incumbents' starting points.
Are there long-term contracts?
Independent is month-to-month with no commitment. Portfolio offers a 10% discount for annual prepay. Enterprise contracts are typically annual or multi-year with the discount scaling accordingly.
What if I outgrow my tier?
Mid-cycle tier upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing for the current period. Mid-cycle downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle so you don't lose features you've already paid for.
Does Independent get all the PMS connectors?
Yes. All 20 PMS connectors (Cloudbeds, Mews, Apaleo, Opera Cloud, Oracle Suite8, SynXis, Pegasus, RoomRaccoon, Stayntouch, innRoad, Visual Matrix, Maestro (REST + SOAP), HotelKey, Infor HMS, Protel/Planet, Guestline, Hotelogix, WebRezPro, ResNexus) are included in every tier. Connector access is not a paywall.
What's the Enterprise $25,000 annual minimum for?
It's a floor designed to filter serious buyers from window-shoppers. Most Enterprise customers run 50-500 properties and pay materially above the floor based on room count and white-label customization. The minimum ensures dedicated TAM coverage is economically viable.
